Norman has over 20 years experience in private health insurance. He was the Private Health Insurance Ombudsman from 1999 to 2002, and has served in various CEO positions in health insurance, finance, and information systems companies and as the Executive Director of Health Insurance Restricted Membership Association Australia (HIRMAA).

Janelle Bond BIT MBA GAICD

Director since 2005. Chair of Business Strategy Committee, Member of Finance, Audit and Risk Committee.  Peoplecare member since 1976.

Janelle is employed at BlueScope Steel as Applications Manager and has extensive experience in the IT Industry.  Janelle is also an experienced director and in 2009 was appointed as Chair of the Wollongong City Council Governance Committee.  Her professional qualifications include a Bachelor of Information Technology (Information Systems), MBA (Commercial Law) and she is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Directors.

Greg Parrish BComm CPA MAICD

Appointed 2006. Chair of Finance, Audit and Risk Committee and Member of the Business Strategy Committee.

Greg's previous experience is extensive and relevant. He has been employed as the Executive Manager - Finance and Administration for Illawarra Credit Union since 2001 and has 19 years experience in senior management roles in various private health insurance and financial institutions.

Ian Sampson BComm LLB  GAICD

Director since 2006. Chair of Nomination, Development and Remuneration Committee and Member of Finance, Audit and Risk Committee. Peoplecare member since 1970.

Ian is self-employed as a Strategic Advisor and is an experienced director and general manager. He has many years experience in large steel manufacturing, mining and sugar manufacturing businesses in Australasia, the South Pacific and South Africa. His particular strengths are in strategic assessment and development, organisation design and development, general management and leadership.  Ian is currently a Director of the Sugar Research and Development Corporation.

Alan Gibbs AAICD JP

Director since 2006. Member of Nominations, Development and Remuneration Committee.

Alan is employed as Marketing & Product Development Manager - Midstream Business at Bluescope Steel. He has significant experience in a number of different fields - he started as a trainee metallurgist at John Lysaght (Aust) in 1976 and has also worked in business management, operations, logistic management, sales and marketing.

Andrew Gregory BComm

Andrew was appointed as Associate Director on 28th February, 2009.  He is a Member of the Business Strategy Committee. Peoplecare member since 1981. 

Andrew is head of People and Culture for Hillross Professional Wealth Management, AMP Services Limited.  He is also an Associate Company Director for AMP Credit Union.  Andrew has a proven track record in corporate strategy, organisational design, culture change, leadership development and corporate governance.  His professional qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce (International Business and HR Management), Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training and Certificate III in Financial Services.
