Michael has been with Peoplecare since 1982 and has been instrumental in driving the direction of the company. He has been a key player in private health insurance in Australia over the last 27 years, having served in several different CEO positions and has played a major role in representing the interests of smaller funds within the industry. His other current appointments include:

•  Australian Health Services Alliance ( AHSA ) - Co-founder and current Director

•  HAMB Systems - Chairman of the Board

•  Health Insurance Restricted Membership Association Australia (HIRMAA) - Vice-President

•  Defence Health - Chairman of the Board

•  NSW Exceptional Drugs Committee - Chairman

•  Illawarra Business Chamber - Director

Dale Cairney BCom CPA GAICD

Dale has been responsible for health insurance Operations and Finance at Peoplecare Health Insurance since 2003. Dale has a wealth of senior management experience across a range of industries including private health insurance and finance over the last 24 years.

Dale's particular strengths are in general management, corporate governance and he serves as the management representative on the Audit and Risk Committee and Nominations and Development Committee as well as being Company Secretary.  He is also Chair of the HAMBS User Group Executive.

General Manager - Marketing and Communications

Anita Mulrooney BA GDipIM GDipCom

Anita joined Peoplecare in 2006.

She has had extensive health insurance experience over the last 16 years in Australia and South-East Asia including management roles in Sales and Marketing, Operations, Member Service, Information Systems and Human Resources. Anita is also Chair of the HIRMAA Marketing Committee and a member of the International Women's Day Committee (Illawarra).

Anita's particular strengths are in leadership, project management, strategic communications and public relations.

Financial Controller

Chris Stolk  BCom CPA

Chris is the most recent addition to the Management Team at Peoplecare Health Insurance having started in September 2007.  Chris is responsible for the provision of all financial management functions of the organisation and has more than 18 years experience in the accounting and finance field, the last five years spent working with organisations in the financial services industry.

His specialist skills include management reporting, statutory reporting, taxation and business planning and compliance. He also has a keen interest in treasury operations.

Corporate Relations Manager

John Henry BCom CPA IIA

John has been with Peoplecare Health Insurance since 1989 and is responsible for managing our corporate clients and business development in the corporate market.

John's wealth of experience with the fund over the last 20 years has included working as part of the Management Team and specialising in the areas of Accounting, Audit, Marketing and Operations.

Operations Manager

Amanda Stevin

Amanda has been with Peoplecare since 2004 and is responsible for the day to day operations of the Call Centre, Claims, Membership and Contributions, along with all member communications. She has had 8 years experience in the private health insurance industry.

Amanda has a particular interest in ensuring our highest standards in member service, including compliance with Australian Standards in relation to member service and complaints handling.

 

Information Technology Manager

Pablo Neira BCom DipCompApp

Pablo has been with the Information Technology team at Peoplecare since 2000. Over the last 9 years he has been involved in all aspects of IT and has specialised in business improvement projects.

Pablo has played an instrumental role in the development of Peoplecare's reputation as a technology leader.
