Cover Definitions

Hospital Cover: Cover for hospital and medical practitioner services provided in a private or public hospital approved by the Department of Health and Ageing, e.g. hospital accommodation fees, theatre fees, medical specialist fees.

Ancillary: Services that are not classed as Medical or Hospital, e.g. Dental, Optical, Ambulance, Physiotherapy, Pharmaceutical, Natural Therapy.
