of the Health Funds Report"
On 22 February The Private
Health Insurance Ombudsman, Mr John Powlay, published the first
annual "State of the Health Funds Report".
This report provides comparative
information on some aspects of the performance and service delivery
of all private health insurance funds in Australia.
The information includes
the availability of offices and telephone services, fund websites,
complaints on benefits/price/service, membership retention and growth,
fund finances and administrative expenses, as well as limited information
about hospital and extras covers.
