NOMINATIONS
FOR BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Nominations
for the Board of Directors closed on 25th August 2006.
We
have received an excellent response with 13 candidates
nominated this year. More details on this and the election
process will be forwarded to members later this month
with the annual report mail out. This will include a
Proxy form, and all members are encouraged to vote for
their chosen candidate.
The
outcome of the vote will be determined at the AGM. All
financial members are entitled to come along and those
living in the Wollongong area are encouraged to attend.
ANNUAL
REPORT MAILOUT
Lysaght
Peoplecare will be mailing our Annual Report week from
24 October.
This
year we're encouraging members who don't need a paper
copy of the Annual Report to let us know. This will
help us reduce our administration expenses.
An
electronic copy of the Annual Report will be available
for download from our website, or we can email it to
you if you'd prefer. You'll still be entitled to vote
at the Annual General Meeting and will continue to receive
AGM materials in the mail every year, but we won't send
you a paper copy of the Annual Report from 2007 onwards.
If you ever change your mind, just let us know.

FAMILY
& FRIENDS DRAW - JAN TO JUNE 2006
The
prize for the Family & Friends Campaign for January
to June 2006 was drawn on 12 July 2006. We are pleased
to announce that the winner was member Mr Anthony Potter,
of Redbank Plains in Queensland .
Our
congratulations go to Mr Potter who was very happy with
his Apple iPod 30GIG Video.
The
campaign is again available for the period July to December
2006.

NEW
LOOK ON-LINE SERVICES COMING SOON
As
part of ongoing service improvements to members, we
are about to implement an upgrade to our on-line member
service facilities. The upgrade complies with the private
health insurance industry Code of Conduct requirements,
and will provide the following benefits :-

Improved menu design, with increased functionality
•
Can be used with any type of web browser
•
Improved security for personal details
•
Improved layout of entry fields
•
Enhancements to viewing claims history, with drill-
down capability
•
A new membership wizard for easier joining.
A
further news flash will be provided when the upgrade
has been implemented.

Peoplecare is also in the process of developing on-line
claiming capability, which will be available in 2007.
