Elections 2005
Following the AGM 16th November 2005 Lysaght Peoplecare is delighted
to announce the appointments of Greg Parrish and Janelle Bond as
new directors of the company.
Both Greg
and Janelle bring specialist skills to the Board that will be of
great benefit to the company and the members. Greg and Janelle replace
Barry Julian and Len Lowe as directors who have each served for
14 years and chose not to re-nominate for the board this year.
Mr
Greg Parrish (B.Com CPA) - Greg has been appointed by the
Board as a finance specialist which was endorsed by members at the
AGM. Based in Wollongong, Greg is currently employed by Community
Alliance Credit Union as Executive Manager - Finance &
Administration. Greg has been employed for 17 years in the
financial services industry, and 6 years in financial roles
in the private health insurance industry. Greg has mainly
worked for mutual companies during his career where the member is
at the heart of the organisation and the reason for its existence.
Greg is passionate about the "values" that mutual companies
hold and has championed these in the workplace through their development
and practical application.
Mrs
Janelle Bond (Dip. Metallurgy, B.ITech., MBA) - Janelle
was elected to the Board by members at the AGM. Janelle has worked
for Bluescope Steel /BHP for 29 years, and is currently employed
as Senior Information Technology and telecommunication Contract
Coordinator. Janelle completed a Bachelor of Information Technology
degree in 2001, and has recently graduated as a Master of Business
Administration (Commercial Law). Janelle has a strong desire to
ensure Lysaght Peoplecare products and services are valued by members
and she will use her skills and experience, together with the
views of members, to contribute to the business development
of the fund.
Lysaght Peoplecare
would also like to thank Barry and Len for their enormous contributions
to the fund. Both Barry and Len have contributed their experience
and expertise to the board for the past 14 years and have helped
forge Lysaght Peoplecare into the fund it is today. We wish them
all the best for the future.
