Dr Akhilesh Pavin

Senior Dentist

Akhi, our senior dentist, loves hitting the gym, a game of cricket, meeting new people on his travels and making everyone around him feel comfortable.

Dr Akhilesh Pavin, aka ‘Akhi’, is our senior dentist. He obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery in India and commenced his dental career in Australia in 2010 as an associate dentist in Moree before joining our team 3 years later.

Akhi has an extensive and varied dental career; before coming to Australia, he worked in a hospital setting in India; assisting in oral surgery and major trauma, he lectured at a dental college for 2 years sharing his knowledge and supporting training dentists.

In 2011 his passion for dental implants was sparked, and in 2013 received his Certificate in Implantology. This specific area of dentistry has continued to be an area of great interest for Akhi inspiring him to undertake courses for advanced surgical training in Implantology in Columbia in 2014.

Akhi graduated from his Masters (MSc) in Oral Implantology from the Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany in 2019 and earned a fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

Most recently, Akhi has attended a global course in India focusing on advanced soft tissue and bone augmentation to further develop and expand his surgical skills.

Over the past few years, Akhi has turned his attention and expanded his skills into the world of Orthodontic treatments through Invisalign. This platform has allowed him to further explore structural and cosmetic dentistry solutions.
