Program features

Nourish Baby is a series of self-paced online courses created by Ternity Group to help get expecting and new parents ready for:

  • labour
  • birth
  • breastfeeding
  • sleep and settling
  • newborn care
  • infant growth and development
  • mental health challenges
  • toddler milestones.

This program is designed by qualified antenatal (pre-birth) and early parenting health professionals to set you up for success with your growing family.

Participants can access the iCOPE emotional health screening tool at any time to detect the likelihood of developing mental health problems while pregnant, and screen for symptoms of depression and anxiety.

Nourish Baby is accredited by the Childbirth and Parenting Educators of Australia and the Australian Council of Healthcare Standards. It is also recommended by COPE: Centre of Perinatal Excellence.

Lessons contain videos, interactive graphics, learning activities, knowledge activities and more to keep you motivated, learning and equipped with evidence-based knowledge.

Video content within the Pregnancy Health, Labour, and Birth and Breastfeeding courses is also available in Arabic, Mandarin and Vietnamese.

Program eligibility

Nourish Baby is available to members who have hospital and extras combined cover and is offered to members under Health Management benefits. If you have available annual limits, this program can be claimed without a gap payment. Contact us to find out more and to enrol.

The waiting period to receive these programs is six months of continuous cover. Your premiums need to be up to date before you can claim this program.
