Peoplecare offers both hospital and extras cover that provides benefits for weight loss programs. We're here to support Australians achieve a healthy lifestyle.

Weight loss program on selected Peoplecare Hospital covers

Peoplecare provides benefits for a weight loss program on selected Hospital covers, called Healthy Weight for Life. This program is for members who have an underlying risk factor or diagnosed health condition.

The program covers three major health conditions and associated risk factors:

  • Heart disease
  • Type 2 diabetes
  • Osteoarthritis

This weight loss program has a 2 month waiting period and you must have served your waits and meet the eligibility criteria to enrol in the program. Click on the tiles below for more information.

  • Weight Watchers Digital
  • Jenny Craig
  • Tony Ferguson weight loss program
  • Lite n Easy (membership and/or dietician consultation only)
  • CSIRO Total Wellbeing Diet

To find out if a program you’re doing is eligible for benefits, call us on 1800 808 690. To claim these benefits, you'll need to fill in a  Declaration of condition form.
