No waiting period applies for hospitalisations due to accidents that happen after joining. It’s a smart, affordable choice to help you prepare for unexpected situations — and it includes unlimited ambulance cover. A $750 excess applies.

Silver Plus Essentials Hospital
Looking for affordable yet comprehensive hospital cover? Silver Plus Essentials Hospital could be right for you.

Get peace of mind with cover for a wide range of in-hospital services, including heart and vascular, back, neck and spine, sleep studies, and more. Choose a $500 or $750 excess, and you get unlimited ambulance cover included.

‡An accident is an unforeseen event, occurring by chance and caused by an external force or object, which causes involuntary bodily injury to a member, requiring medical treatment by a Registered Medical Practitioner or Emergency Department (excluding by anyone on the same policy) within 48 hours of the event. Any further treatment required must be completed within 90 days of the event or timeframe otherwise agreed to by Peoplecare. Accident cover excludes sudden illness, injuries caused by medical conditions, pregnancy, birth and IVF related services, accidents arising from or during surgical procedures, injuries arising from an accident where those injuries are compensable or otherwise covered by a third party and aggravation of a pre-existing condition.
