Switching is easy. We can take care of the cancellation of your existing cover, ensuring a smooth transition with no gaps in your health insurance^. -
Waiting periods
New to private health insurance? Standard waiting periods will apply.
Switching from another fund? We’ll recognise any waiting periods you’ve already served, as long as you join within 30 days of leaving your previous health fund. -
30 days cooling-off period
Whether you're a new member or switching to us, you'll enjoy a 30-day cooling-off period. If you change your mind within 30 days of joining Peoplecare, you'll receive a full refund, provided no claims have been made during that time.
^Disclaimer: you must switch and take up your new cover within 30 days of leaving your previous health fund to ensure that you will not be required to serve waiting periods already on your previous cover.
