Claiming Invisalign on Peoplecare extras
What is Invisalign?
Invisalign uses a series of clear removable aligners to progressively straighten your teeth. The aligners can be removed for up to two hours a day – giving you more freedom and flexibility, as well as ease of tooth and aligner cleaning.
Unlike getting braces through an orthodontist, you don’t need an appointment every month. With Invisalign, you only need to come in to see your dentist every 2 months.
The Invisalign system is a discreet and hygienic orthodontic treatment that uses an innovative approach to effectively straighten teeth.
How much can I claim on Peoplecare extras?
Peoplecare members with Premium Extras or High Extras can claim Invisalign under their orthodontic benefits (a 12-month waiting period applies for orthodontics).
If you’d like to see what results you can expect, providers can take impressions & imaging for you. There’s a fee for these services, which could be included in your total package price if you decide to go ahead with the Invisalign treatment.

Treatment costs and Peoplecare benefits may differ from the examples above. Invisalign is typically billed 50% upfront which can be claimed on these extras covers.
